Usage
The disinfection system is used for fully automatic disinfection of the resin bed of water softening systems with a total capacity of up to 1,200 m³x°d during regeneration.
Thanks to its easy installation and simple handling, this system is also ideal for retrofitting existing water softening systems.
The connection pieces must be adapted to the brine suction line!
Functionality
A probe installed in the brine line allows the control system to detect when conductivity increases during the salting phase. During this salting phase, a current is passed through the probe's electrodes and electrolysis is used to generate free chlorine, which is passed over the resin bed together with the brine to disinfect it. This process is automatically terminated when no more salt water flows past the electrodes.
